Pry center air nozzle (1) at bottom out of catch
(arrows)

Installation: air nozzle should catch

audibly.

Pull center air nozzle (1) out of air duct

Install in the reverse order

Removal, installation

Remove glove compartment

Installation: Adjust glove compartment

lid and check for proper function

Unhook stop lever (1) on left and
right on instrument panel

Slightly lift glove compartment lid (3)

and unhook stop lever (1).

Unscrew screws (2) on hinge

Remove glove compartment lid (3)

5

Reinstall in opposite order

Remove glove compartment lid

Unclip stop lever (1) from inner section
(2)

Remove hinges (8) on inner section (2)

Remove hinge pins

Unscrew screws (3) from lock (4)

Unscrew screws (5) from glove
compartment inner section (2)

5 each.

Remove inner section (2)

Remove insert (6) from inner section (2)

Unhook glove compartment catch (4)
and spring (9)

Remove glove compartment catch (4)
from glove compartment lid (7)

Drive out pin (10).

Installation: Observe installation
position for spring (9).

Install in opposite order

Adjusting

During entire operation pay attention to uniform
transition, gap and adjustment possibilities on
hinge (arrows) between glove compartment lid
(1) and instrument panel (2).

1 Loosen screws (3) on striker eye (4)

Installation: Adjust transition at

top of striker eye (4). Glove
compartment lid (1) should make slight
contact to stop buffers.

2 Remove glove compartment

3 Adjust gap

For this purpose loosen hinge screw

(5) from hinge (6).

4 Install glove compartment

1400GH

5 Check for easy motion and proper function
