Activity 13: Retrieving DTCs and Freeze Frame Data

Upon completing this activity you will be able to retrieve DTCs and read Freeze
Frame Data with IDS.

What you need to complete this activity:

Mazda-approved laptop with PDS installed

Procedure:

1. Double left click the IDS icon on your desktop.

2. Select Start New Session, then press enter or click tick.


















3. Follow the screen instructions, then press enter or click tick.

4. Watch the following Establishing Communication screen flash on then off.


















5. Verify the vehicle information is correct, then press enter or click YES.
