5. Lower the grab handle, then pry out the lid (A). Remove the self-tapping ET screws, then remove the

grab handle (B). Remove the remaining grab handles.

6. Remove the headliner.

a. Remove the socket plug (A).

b. Remove the front door opening trim (B) and rear door opening trim (C) from each roof portion.

c. Detach the clip (D), and release the fasteners (E) by pulling the front portion of the headliner (F)

down.

d. With the help of an assistant, detach the rear clips (G) by pulling the rear portion of the headliner

down, release the headliner from the frame (H) by sliding the headliner rearward, and lowering the
headliner.

e. Remove the headliner through the front passenger's door opening.

7. Without side curtain airbag: If necessary, remove the bolts, then remove the front grab handle bracket (A)

and rear grab handle bracket (B) from each side by releasing the hooks (C).

8. If necessary, detach the hooks (A) and the clip (B), then remove the front roof side pad (C) and rear roof

side pad (D).
