1.6 DESCRIPTION OF AXLE LOAD COMPENSATION DEVICE

Vehicles equipped with a double front axle are

fitted with an axle load compensation device.

The axle load compensation device ensures that

the vehicle weight is distributed evenly over both

front axles.

Via the shackle (2), rod (3) and shackle (5) force

is transferred from the front spring assembly (1)

to the rear spring assembly (4) and vice versa.
