This
puts
sensor
E507
in
‘stand-by’
mode.
If
the
permitted
axle
load
increases
further
(>
10
tons),
sensor
E507
automatically
lowers
the
trailing
axle.
If
the
axle
has
been
lifted,
F097
(proximity

for
m

ensures
that
relay
G

is
energised
through

on
D503.
The
signal
sent
by
the
proximity
switch

should
last
for
at

10
seconds
before
the
electronic
unit
for
lifting
gear
(D503)

activate
the
valve

so
that
the
trailing
axle
is
lowered.
This
is
to
prevent
the
legal
maximum
axle
load
from
being
exceeded.
If
the
dashboard
switch

minutes,
the
electronic
unit

As
a
result,
the
m
echanical
lifting
gear
motor
relay
(G052)
will
also
be
activated,
thus
activating
the
m

relay
G066
(connection
between
points
30
and
87a)
to
connection
point
85
of
relay
G

When
a
pressure
of
160

is
reached,
the
limit
switch
(E524)
switches
the
lifting-gear
pump
m

(B073)
of
ft

relay
G
066
and
relay
G
052.
The
trailing
axle
cannot
be
lifted
for
a
period
of
2.5
m
inutes
as
the
valve
(B072)
remains
energised.
This
valve
should
be
in
the
non

position
for
lifting.
