1. Check the No. 7 (7.5 A) fuse and No. 32 (7.5 A) fuse
in the under-dash fuse/relay box, and reinstall the
fuse if it is OK.
Go to step 2.
Replace the fuse and recheck.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ACC (I).
3. Operate the radio and listen to the audio.
Go to step 4.
Refer to audio system troubleshooting.
4. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
5. Measure the voltage between body ground and
navigation unit connector C (8P) terminals No. 1
and No. 2 individually.
Go to step 6.
If the
B or ACC wire does not have voltage,
repair open in the wire between the under-dash
fuse/relay box and the navigation unit.
6. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
7. Disconnect the navigation unit connector C (8P).
8. Check for continuity between navigation unit
connector C (8P) terminal No. 4 and body ground.
Go to step 9.
Repair open in the wire between the
navigation unit and body ground (G501).
9. Reconnect the navigation unit connector C (8P).
10. Do the forced starting of the display (see page
23-138).
Go into the Diagnostic mode and use the
check the links.
Go to step 11.
11. Shield the navigation display from the sun with
your hand, and check that the display is back lit
(only back light is ON.)
Replace the navigation unit (see page 23-139).
Go to step 12.

NOTE:
• Always make sure that the correct DVD color and
version are installed.
•
• Always check the navigation screen settings for
brightness, contrast, black level and the color screen
for map color and menu color.
• For problems with the rearview camera, do the
rearview camera does not come on or work properly
troubleshooting.
• Always check the connectors for poor connections or
loose terminals.
• Before troubleshooting, make sure you have the
audio system and the navigation system anti-theft
codes.

test under Monitor Check (see page 23-122). Wiggle
the harness and monitor the red, green, and blue
circles.
If the image flickers when you wiggle the
harness, check for poor connections and pin fit. If
the image does not change and the circles are OK.
The system is OK at this time.
If any are missing, go to step 2.
2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
3. Disconnect the navigation unit connector A (20P)
and navigation display connector A (20P).
4. Check for loose terminals at navigation unit
connector A (20P) and navigation display connector
A (20P).
Repair the terminal.
Go to step 5.
