6. When the screen returns to the "BODY TYPE"
screen, check that the body type is set correctly,
and terminate the service mode.
HOW TO SET THE DESTINATION
("DESTINATION" SCREEN)
1. Press the [ADJ] button on the "Display Setting
menu" screen.
2. Press the [INFO] button on the "BODY TYPE"
screen.
3. The "DESTINATION" screen is displayed, and the
destination currently set is indicated.
NOTE:
The set destination is indicated as "G
⋅
EXP/EU/
MMAL" or "DOM".
4. To change the destination, press the [SELECT]
button.
5. [Press [
→] or [←] button to display "G⋅EXP/EU/
MMAL".
6. Press [SET] button to make settings.
7. When the screen returns to the "DESTINATION"
screen, check that the destination is set correctly,
and terminate the service mode.

HOW TO RESET THE FUNCTION TYPE
("FUNCTION TYPE RESET" SCREEN)
NOTE: Before resetting the function type reset,
check that the power supply systems to the CAN
communication line, audio communication line are
connected normally in accordance with the vehicle
specification. (Because a function type is judged
incorrectly if reset is executed with the abnormal con-
nection status.)
1. Press the [ADJ] button on the "Display Setting
menu" screen.
2. When the "BODY TYPE" screen is displayed,
press the [INFO] button.
3. When the "DESTINATION" screen is displayed,
press the [INFO] button.
4. The "FUNCTION TYPE RESET" screen is
displayed, and the function type currently set is
indicated. To reset the function type, press the
[SELECT] button.
NOTE: The function types are indicated by num-
bers from "1" to "4". ("0" is not set.) They are clas-
sified as shown in the table below.

5. When "RESET OK?" is indicated, press the [SET]
button.
6. When the screen returns to the "FUNCTION
TYPE RESET" screen, check that "RESET 0" is
indicated, and terminate the service mode.
7. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF)
position.
8. Turn the ignition switch from the LOCK (OFF)
position to the ON position.
NOTE: When the ignition switch is turned from
"LOCK" to "ON" for the first time after the function
type is reset, the centre display automatically
judges the status of other ECUs to set the function
type.
HOW TO DELETE THE COMPASS AZIMUTH
CIRCLE
CAUTION
If the compass azimuth display is not normal,
always perform the declination calibration and
the compass calibration in the compass setting
before deleting the compass azimuth circle. Only
if the compass azimuth display is still abnormal
and the azimuth display function itself needs to
be reset, delete the compass azimuth circle.
NOTE: Always check the declination calibration and
carry out the compass calibration after deleting the
compass azimuth circle.
1. Press the [ADJ] button on the "Display Setting
menu" screen.
2. When the "BODY TYPE" screen is displayed,
press the [INFO] button.
3. When the "DESTINATION" screen is displayed,
press the [INFO] button.
4. When the "FUNCTION TYPE RESET" screen is
displayed, press the [INFO] button.

delete the compass azimuth circle data, press the
[SELECT] button.
6. When "DELETE OK?" is indicated, press the
[SET] button.
7. When the screen returns to the "PROF CIRCLE
DEL" screen, terminate the service mode

DIAGNOSIS CODE PROCEDURES
Code No. 19: ETACS CAN Timeout
CAUTION
• If diagnosis code No.19 is set in the RV meter,
diagnose the CAN main bus line.
• Whenever the RV meter is replaced, ensure
that the communication circuit is normal.
NOTE: When the diagnosis codes relating to the
CAN communication error are set, make sure of the
vehicle equipment. When the vehicle is not equipped
with the system the RV meter communicates to, the
diagnosis code is always output. This is not abnor-
mal.
