GENERAL INFORMATION

M1321000101699

For engine and transmission mounts, gravity-centre
support engine type has been adopted as follows: 3-
point support type (two places at the engine and one
place at the transmission) for A/T vehicles, and 4-
point support type (two places at the engine, one
place at the transmission and one place at the trans-
fer) for 4WD-M/T vehicles.

• The clearance of the stopper for front engine sup-

port insulator has been enlarged to improve
vibration at the vehicle start-up.

• Cup-type stopper cover made of heat-resistant

material has been adopted to abolish the heat
protector for light weighting.

• Low-speed action spring material has been

adopted for front engine support insulator and
rear engine support insulator to reduce vibration
transmission ratio of the power plant.
