CAUTION
Do not over-tighten. If the mass airflow sensor installation
screw is over-tightened, the air cleaner support thread
may be damaged.

Use special tool MB992188 to remove the No.2 intake air tem-
perature sensor.

Tighten the No.2 intake air temperature sensor to the specified
torque by using special tool MB992188.
Tightening torque: 14

>>B<< O-RING/MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE
PRESSURE SENSOR INSTALLATION
CAUTION
• Install the manifold absolute pressure sensor, taking
care that no shock is applied to it.
• Do not use a manifold absolute pressure sensor that
has been dropped.
1. Apply a small amount of new engine oil to the O-ring.
2. Install the manifold absolute pressure sensor to the intake
manifold with care not to damage the O-ring.

INTAKE MANIFOLD CHECK
1. Check the intake manifold for damage and cracks, and
replace it if necessary.
2. Check the vacuum outlet port for clogging, and clean it if
necessary.
