According to the trouble diagnosis chart, repair or replace the cause of the malfunction. Refer to

GW-70,

"Trouble Diagnoses Symptom Chart"

Does rear defogger operate normally?
OK: GO TO 6.
NG: GO TO 4.

POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT INSPECTION

1.

FUSE INSPECTION

Check that any of the following fuses in the BCM is blown.

NOTE:
Refer to

GW-61, "Component Parts and Harness Connector Location"

>> If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of problem before installing new fuse. Refer to

POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT INSPECTION (BCM)

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect the BCM connector.

3.

Check voltage between BCM connector and ground.

OK or NG

OK

>> GO TO 3.

NG

>> Repair or replace harness between BCM and fuse.

3.

GROUND CIRCUIT INSPECTION (BCM)

Check continuity between BCM connector M4 terminals 56, 113 and
ground.

OK or NG

OK

>> Power supply and ground circuit are OK.

NG

>> Repair or replace harness.

CONSULT-II Function

CONSULT-II BASIC OPERATION PROCEDURE

1.

Turn ignition switch “OFF”.

2.

Connect “CONSULT-II” and “CONSULT-II CONVERTER” to
data link connector.

3.

Turn ignition switch “ON”.

4.

Touch “START(NISSAN BASED VHCL)”.
