CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect BCM connector.

3.

Check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.

OK or NG

>> Repair harness or connector.

CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

DATA MONITOR
Operation Procedure

1.

Touch “HEAD LAMP” on “SELECT TEST ITEM” screen.

2.

Touch “DATA MONITOR” on “SELECT DIAG MODE” screen.

3.

Touch either “ALL SIGNALS” or “SELECTION FROM MENU” on “SELECT MONITOR ITEM” screen.

4.

When “SELECTION FROM MENU” is selected, touch individual items to be monitored. When “ALL SIG-
NALS” is selected, all the items will be monitored.

5.

Touch “START”.

6.

Touch “RECORD” while monitoring, then the status of the monitored item can be recorded. To stop
recording, touch “STOP”.

BATTERY SAVER SET

Exterior lamp battery saver control mode can be changed in this mode. Selects exterior lamp bat-
tery saver control mode between two ON/OFF. Factory setting is ON.

CUSTOM A/LIGHT SETTING

Auto light sensitivity can be changed in this mode. Sensitivity can be adjusted in 4 modes. Fac-
tory setting is MODE 1.

MODE 1 (Normal)/MODE 2 (sensitive)/MODE 3 (Desensitized)/MODE 4 (Insensitive)

ILL DELAY SET

Auto light delay off timer period can be changed in this mode. Selects auto light delay off timer
period among eight modes. Factory setting is MODE 1.

MODE 1 (45 sec.)/MODE 2 (OFF)/MODE 3 (30 sec.)/MODE 4 (60 sec.)/MODE 5 (90 sec.)/
MODE 6 (120 sec.)/MODE 7 (150 sec.)/MODE 8 (180 sec.)

ALL SIGNALS

Monitors all the signals.

Selects items and monitor them.

Displays status (lighting switch high beam position: ON/other: OFF) of high beam switch

Displays status (lighting switch 2ND position: ON/other: OFF) of headlamp 1 switch
judged from the lighting switch signal.

ACTIVE TEST
Operation Procedure

1.

Touch “HEAD LAMP” on “SELECT TEST ITEM” screen.

2.

Touch “ACTIVE TEST” on “SELECT DIAG MODE” screen.

3.

Touch item to be tested and check operation of the selected item.

4.

During the operation check, touching “OFF” deactivates the operation.
