(5) Install C-Post flaps to the C-Post stamping
(two expanding two rivets per side) (Fig. 62).
(6) Install
the
headliner
attachments
(elastic
straps) to the folding top frame (Fig. 63).
(7) Install five screws to each bow strip.
(8) Install nine attaching headliner to the front
header.
(9) Position the canopy back to the B-Bow (Fig. 64)
and (Fig. 65).
(10) Install tension cable with two spring clips on
each side (Fig. 66) and (Fig. 67).
(11) Install canopy adhesive tape to the front
header edges.
(12) Install 12 screws attaching Canopy to front
header (Fig. 68).
(13) Operate the folding top assembly to ensure
proper operation and fit.

ASSEMBLY
REMOVAL
(1) Start with the folding top in the raised and
latched position.
(2) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(3) Remove the well liner/carpet from the folding
top well.
(4) Remove the rear quarter trim panels, (Refer to
23 - BODY/INTERIOR/QUARTER PANEL TRIM -
REMOVAL).
NOTE: Place a reference mark along the outer edge
of the shelf seat brackets to ensure they are
installed back to the original position.
(5) Remove the seat back support brackets (Fig.
69)
(6) Remove the motor/hydraulic pump foam cover.
(7) Remove the six cable tie straps (three per side)
and clip the three on the left side to separate the
wire harness.
(8) Remove the two motor/hydraulic pump retain-
ing nuts (Fig. 70).
