NG: REPLACE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH (see REMOVAL )

OK: Go to next step

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH-TURN

SIGNAL FLASHER AND BODY GROUND)

a. Disconnect the L3 switch connector.

b. Disconnect the J29 relay connector.

c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

TAIL LIGHT CIRCUIT

DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU receives a light control switch information signal from the headlight dimmer switch, and
illuminates the taillights.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY TECHSTREAM (TAILLIGHT)

a. Operate the Techstream according to the steps on the display and select "Active Test".

2. INSPECT FUSE (TAIL)

a. Remove the TAIL fuse from the main body ECU.

b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

FUSE (TAIL)

NG: REPLACE FUSE

OK: Go to next step

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TAILLIGHT BULB - BATTERY)

a. for LH:

1. Disconnect the R5 taillight connector.

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage

TAILLIGHT BULB - BATTERY RH

NG: Go to step 4

OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (TAILLIGHT - BODY GROUND)

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - BATTERY)

a. Disconnect the DA ECU connector.
