1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION
If the result is not as specified, replace the MAF meter.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL MASS AIR FLOW METER
a. Install the MAF meter with the 2 screws.
Torque: 1.7 N*m (17 kgf*cm, 15 in.*lbf)
b. Connect the MAF connector.
2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:
Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. (See

REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
(See INITIALIZATION ).

2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT . (See REPLACEMENT ).
3. REMOVE DRIVE BELT . (See REMOVAL ).
4. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
5. REMOVE NO. 3 TIMING BELT COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH . (See REMOVAL ).
6. REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
a. Remove the bolt, stud bolt and camshaft position sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
a. Install the camshaft position sensor with the bolt and stud bolt.
Torque: 7.5 N*m (80 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf)
2. INSTALL NO. 3 TIMING BELT COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See INSTALLATION )
3. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system
requires approximately 90 seconds to record Various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch
OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from
the negative (-) battery terminal.

4. INSTALL DRIVE BELT (See INSTALLATION )
5. ADD ENGINE COOLANT . (See REPLACEMENT ).
6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK . (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION ).
7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
