NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: Go to next step

6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FR FOG RELAY - FRONT FOG LIGHT BULB)

a. Remove the fog light relay from the engine room relay block.

b. for LH:

1. Disconnect the A30 front fog light connector.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

FR FOG RELAY - FRONT FOG LIGHT BULB LH

c. for RH:

1. Disconnect the A31 front fog light connector.

Tester Connection

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

FR FOG RELAY - FRONT FOG LIGHT BULB RH

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: Go to next step

7. CHECK FRONT FOG LIGHT

a. Disconnect the J4 ECU connector.

b. Using a service wire, connect J4-4 (FFGO) on the wire harness side and body ground.

c. Check that the front fog light illuminates.

OK: Front fog light illuminates.

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (FOG LIGHT RELAY - MAIN
BODY ECU)

OK: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU

TURN SIGNAL LIGHT CIRCUIT

DESCRIPTION

The turn signal flasher receives a turn signal switch signal from the headlight dimmer switch, and illuminates
the front turn signal light, outer rear view mirror and rear combination light.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. CHECK TURN SIGNAL LIGHT

a. Check that the turn signal lights blink.

Result

TURN SIGNAL LIGHT

B: Go to step 4

C: Go to step 5

D: Go to step 6

A: Go to next step

2. INSPECT FUSE (LH-IG, TURN-HAZ)

a. Remove the LH-IG fuse from the main body ECU.

b. Remove the TURN-HAZ fuse from the engine room junction block.

c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

LH-IG, TURN-HAZ

NG: REPLACE FUSE

OK: Go to next step

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TURN SIGNAL FLASHER - BATTERY AND BODY

GROUND)

a. Disconnect the J29 relay connector.

Result

Proceed to

All turn signal lights do not blink

A

Only front turn signal light does not blink

B

Only rear combination light does not blink

C

Only door mirror foot light does not blink

D
