the diagnostic unit. CHECK system operates
correctly

lighting module.

A1: CHECK FUSE F17 (60 A) (EJB)

Ignition switch in position 0.

Disconnect fuse F17 (60 A) (EJB).

2

CHECK fuse F17 (60 A) (EJB).

3

Is the fuse OK.?
Yes

GO to A2

.

No

RENEW fuse F17 (60 A) (EJB). CHECK system
operates correctly If the fuse blows again, LOCATE
and RECTIFY the short to ground using the Wiring
Diagrams. CHECK system operates correctly

A2: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT FUSE F17 (60 A) (EJB)

Connect fuse F17 (60 A) (EJB).

1

Ignition switch in position II.

2

Measure the voltage between fuse F17 (60A) (EJB)
and ground.

3

Does meter display battery voltage?
Yes

GO to A3

.

No

LOCATE AND RECTIFY the break in the voltage
supply of fuse F17 (60 A) (EJB) using the Wiring
Diagrams. CHECK system operates correctly

A3: CHECK FUSE F18 (60 A) (EJB)

Ignition switch in position 0.

1

Disconnect fuse F18 (60 A) (EJB).

2

CHECK fuse F18 (60 A) (EJB).

3

Is the fuse OK.?
Yes

GO to A4

.

No

RENEW fuse F18 (60 A) (EJB). CHECK system
operates correctly If the fuse blows again, LOCATE
and RECTIFY the short to ground using the Wiring
Diagrams. CHECK system operates correctly

A4: CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT FUSE F18 (60 A) (EJB)

Connect fuse F18 (60 A) (EJB).

Ignition switch in position II.

Measure the voltage between fuse F18 (60 A)
(EJB) and ground.

Does meter display battery voltage?
Yes

GO to A5

.

No

LOCATE AND RECTIFY the break in the voltage
supply of fuse F18 (60 A) (EJB) using the Wiring
Diagrams. CHECK system operates correctly

A5: CHECK THE VOLTAGE SUPPLY TO THE CENTRAL JUNCTION BOX (CJB) FOR OPEN
CIRCUIT

Ignition switch in position 0.

1

Disconnect CJB from connector C1BP02G.

2

Ignition switch in position II.

3

Measure the voltage between the CJB, connector
C1BP02G, pin 1, circuit SBB17A (RD), wiring

harness side and ground.

Does the meter display battery voltage?
