(15) Dismantle gearbox rear cover (Figure 30 and 31).

(16) Unfix the elastic snap rings on the two bearings of the input shaft and output shaft.

(17) Prepare a clamp and gasket and turn over the gearbox cover. Install the gearbox onto
the clamp and check the location of the gasket on the clamp (Figure 33) and fasten the
gearbox.

(18) Install the bearing fixing tool and check if the input and output shafts are aligned
with each other.

Note: if is bearing pressing device is used improperly, the oil seal on the input and
output shafts may be damaged.
(19) Install the gearbox onto the clamp and press out the input and output shaft assembly
from the gearbox body.

(20) Take off the gearbox body
(21) Carefully take the gearbox body off the shaft and clamp and ensure that the end
bearing and oil seal are not damaged (Figure 37).

(22) Unfix the reverse brake conical friction wheel and retainer ring off the input shaft
assembly.
