(7) Unplug the car speed sensor tie-in
(Figure 8)

(8) Jack up the car with a jack.
(9) Unfix the gearbox oil filler plug
(Figure 9) and put the gearbox oil into a
designated container.

(10)Unfix the clutch sub-pump from the
gearbox as the figure shows (Figure 10).

(11) Release the set bolts of the power
steering pipeline.

(12) Detach the power steering oil pipe
(Figure 12)

(13) Screw off the set bolts of engine
cable and take down the cable.

(14) Screw off the two set bolts of the
starter (Figure 14).

(15) Screw off the clutch pressure plate
set bolts (Figure 16).

Mark accordingly in sequence on the
flywheel and clutch assembly during
releasing the bolts

(16) Support the engine drain pan with a
screw jack and wooden blocks.

(17) Unfix the set bolts on top of the
gearbox (Figure 15).

(18) Carefully lower the screw jack
supporting the engine and the gearbox.

(19) Have someone else to support the
gearbox when the gearbox and engine
set screws are being released (Figure 16).

(20) Unfix the gearbox from the car
(Figure 16).

(21) Unfix the clutch assembly from the gearbox input shaft (Figure 16)
(22) In the case of fixing or replacing a gearbox, unfix the upper bracket as the figure
shows (Figure 17), fix it in place on the new gearbox and screw tight all set bolts with a
torque of 62Nm (45ft.lbs).
