2. Function of Window Riser Switches

Switch Function

Front left

window riser

switch on

front left

door

When front left (driver side) window riser switch on front left door is pressed in

the direction to make window fall with ignition switch ON, pin 14 and pin 1 are

disconnected while pin 15 and pin 1 are connected, control module controls front

left window riser motor to enable window falling.

When the switch is pressed in the direction to make the window rise, pin 14 and

pin 1 are connected while pin 15 and pin 1 are disconnected, control module

controls front left window riser to rise. When no key on switch is pressed, pin 14

and pin 1 are connected while pin 15 and pin 1 are also connected, control module

controls front left window riser motor to stop falling/rising.

When front right window riser switch in combination switch at driver’s side is

pressed in the direction to make window fall with ignition switch ON, pin 2 and

pin 1 are disconnected while pin 9 and pin 1 are connected, meanwhile pin 2 and

pin 6 are connected, pin 4 and pin 9 are connected, control module controls front

right window riser motor to enable falling motion.

When front right window riser switch at driver’s side is pressed in the direction to

make window rise with ignition switch ON, pin 9 and pin 1 are disconnected

while pin 2 and pin 1 are connected, meanwhile pin 2 and pin 6 are connected, pin

4 and pin 9 are connected, control module controls front right window riser motor

to enable rising motion.

Rear left

When rear left window riser switch in combination switch at driver’s side is

pressed in the direction to make window fall with ignition switch ON, pin 6 and

pin 1 are disconnected while pin 5 and pin 1 are connected, meanwhile pin 2 and

pin 6 are connected, pin 4 and pin 9 are connected, control module controls rear

left window riser motor to enable falling motion.

When rear left window riser switch in combination switch at driver’s side is

pressed in the direction to make window rise with ignition switch ON, pin 5 and

pin 1 are disconnected while pin 6 and pin 1 are connected, meanwhile pin 4 and

pin 9 are connected, pin 2 and pin 6 are connected, control module controls rear

left window riser motor to enable rising motion.

When rear right window riser switch is pressed in the direction to make window

fall with ignition switch ON, pin 10 and pin 1 are disconnected while pin 3 and

pin 1 are connected, meanwhile pin 2 and pin 6 are connected to enter pin 12 in

module, pin 4 and pin 9 are connected to enter pin 2 in module, control module

controls rear right window riser motor to enable falling motion.

When rear right window riser switch is pressed in the direction to make window

rise with ignition switch ON, pin 3 and pin 1 are disconnected while pin 10 and

pin 1 are connected, meanwhile pin 2 and pin 6 are connected to send signal to pin

12 in module, pin 4 and pin 9 are connected to send signal to pin 2 in module,

control module controls rear right window riser motor to enable rising motion.

Rear left

When rear left window riser switch on rear left door is pressed in the direction to

make window fall with ignition switch ON, pin 2 and pin 6 are disconnected

while pin 4 and pin 9 are connected to send signal to pin 30 in module, meanwhile

safety switch is set to green light (pin 4 and pin 11 in combination switch are

connected), control module controls rear left window riser motor to enable falling

motion.

When rear left window riser switch on rear left door is pressed in the direction to

make window rise with ignition switch ON, pin 4 and pin 9 are disconnected

while pin 6 and pin 2 are connected to send signal to pin 30 in module, meanwhile

safety switch is set to green light (pin 4 and pin 11 in combination switch are

connected), control module controls rear left window riser to enable rising

motion.

When rear right window riser switch on rear right door is pressed in the direction

to make window fall with ignition switch ON, pin 2 and pin 6 are disconnected to

send signal to pin 12 in module while pin 4 and pin 9 are connected to send signal

to pin 2 in module, meanwhile safety switch is set to green light (pin 4 and pin 11

in combination switch are connected), control module controls rear right window

riser to enable falling motion.

When rear right window riser switch on rear right door is pressed in the direction

to make window rise with ignition switch ON, pin 4 and pin 9 are disconnected to

send signal to pin 2 in module while pin 2 and pin 6 are connected to send signal

to pin 12 in module, meanwhile safety switch is set to green light (pin 4 and pin

11 in combination switch are connected), control module controls rear right

window riser to enable rising motion.

When front right window riser switch on front right door is pressed in the

direction to make window fall with ignition switch ON, pin 2 and pin 6 are

disconnected to send signal to pin 6 in module while pin 4 and pin 9 are connected

to send signal to pin 1 in module, meanwhile safety switch is set to green light

(pin 4 and pin 11 in combination switch are connected), control module controls

front right window riser motor to enable falling motion.

When front right window riser switch on front right door is pressed in the

direction to make window rise with ignition switch ON, pin 4 and pin 9 are

disconnected to send signal to pin 1 in module while pin 2 and pin 6 are connected

to send signal to pin 6 in module, meanwhile safety switch is set to green light

(pin 4 and pin 11 in combination switch are connected), control module controls

front right window riser to enable rising motion.

Section Three: Troubleshooting

1. Electric window not movable

When electric windows are not movable, check following:

(1) Battery voltage;

(2) Temperature-sensitive fuse and control relay power supply;

(3) Four window riser switches and power supply;

(4) Contact switch and motor signal of each door;

(5) Working current of window riser motor on each door;

(6) Mechanical link gear of window riser on each door.

2. Electric window riser not work

When electric window risers do not work, check following:

(1). Battery voltage;

(2) Safety switch (located on front left armrest), if it is pressed down;

(3) Connection between rear window risers and safety switch, whether closed or not;

(4) Rear window riser motors and mechanical link gears, whether moving smoothly or

not;

(5) Safety switch and control buttons, whether effective or not.
