No. 175 Normally when driving straightly, but with abnormal sound while turning

Malfunction

Causes

Solution

Wheel abraded with body parts while turning;

Check wheel is abraded with body parts while turning; if
so, adjust and repair it;

Outer cage of two front wheels without lubricating
oil or damaged;

Check outer cage of two front wheels are with
lubricating oil or damaged;

Pressure bearing lack of lubricating oil or
damaged;

Check pressure bearing is lack of lubricating oil or
damaged; if so, lubricate or replace it;

Normally when
driving straightly,
but with abnormal
sound while
turning

Thrust bearing of slide column lack of lubricating
oil or with damaged ball;

Lubricate or replace thrust bearing of slide column;

Normally when driving straightly, but
with unusual noise while turning

No. 176 Braking wandering

Malfunction Causes

Solution

(1) Materials for friction disk of brake shoe of left, right
wheels not the same or degree of new, old not the
same;

Replace brake disk and brake drum

(2) Closing area, position of friction disc of brake shoe
and brake drum (disk) of left, right wheels not the same
or braking clearance not the same;

Adjust the clearance

(3) Technical conditions for left, right wheel cylinders not
the same, causing different action time or opening size;

Replace left, right wheel cylinders

(4) Pulling force of release spring of brake shoe of left,
right wheels not the same;

Replace release spring of brake shoe

(5) Tire of left, right wheels with different pressure,
different diameter, different pattern, or different pattern
depth;

Adjust tire, and charge the tire

(6) Brake drum of left, right wheels with different
thickness, diameter, extent deformation, and roughness
of working surface;

Replace brake drums of left, right wheels

(7) Brake pipe at single side collapsed, blocked or oil
leaking;

Clean brake oil pipe

(8) Brake pipe at single side or wheel cylinder with air
resistance;

Replace brake oil

(9) Brake shoe at single side and support pin closely
matched or rusty;

Adjust clearance of brake shoe or remove
dust

While braking, wandering
occurs to driving direction;
while emergency braking,
swerving occurs.

(10) Frame, axle bent within horizontal plane, and
wheelbase at two sides of frame unequal, or rigidity of
front plate spring unequal.

Adjust frame, wheelbase or replace spring

No. 177 Braking dragging

Malfunction

Causes

Solution

(1) Brake pedal without free stroke;

Adjust free stroke of brake pedal

(2) Matching between brake pedal and other axles lack of
oil, rusty, or release spring of pedal falls out, snapped off,
or with too small pulling force, etc.;

Apply oil, remove dust, or solve other
problems accordingly;

(3) Release spring of master cylinder piston ruptured or
with too small pretightening force;

Replace release spring of master cylinder
piston;

(4) Master cylinder piston, leather cup with too large length
or leather cup bloating, sticking;

Replace master cylinder piston, leather cup

(5) Compensation hole of master cylinder obstructed by
pollutants;

Clean pollutants;

(6) Leather cup of wheel cylinder bloating, sticking, or
piston blocking;

Replace wheel cylinder leather cup

(7) Release spring of brake shoe falling out, snapped off or
with too small pulling force;

Replace release spring of brake shoe;

(8) Brake shoe and support pin rusty;

Repair brake shoe and support pin;

(9) clearance between brake shoe and brake drum (disk)
incorrectly adjusted; after releasing brake, local abrasion
still exists;

Adjust clearance between brake shoe and
brake drum (disk);

(10) Oil pipe through wheel cylinder collapsed or
obstructed;

Clean oil pipe of wheel cylinder

(11) While not braking, center hole of auxiliary cylinder
piston of supercharger could not be opened;

Repair center hole of auxiliary cylinder
piston of supercharger

(12) Brake hose distorted, deformed or partially obstructed Replace brake hose

After releasing brake
pedal, braking actions
on individual or all
wheels could not be
fully released, thus
affecting re-startup,
accelerating driving or
free running of
vehicles.

(13) Hub bearing loosening;

Fasten hub bearing
