2. Remove the screws (B) securing the rear of the door weatherstrip (C).

3. Detach the clip (C, D), then remove the door weatherstrip (E).

4. Install the weatherstrip in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

z

Replace any damaged clips.

z

Make sure the weatherstrip is installed in the holder (F) securely.

z

Apply liquid thread lock to the door stop mounting bolt before installation.

z

Check for water leaks (see step 7 of FRONT & REAR DOOR GLASS ADJUSTMENT ).

REAR DOOR HOOK PIN & CATCH REPLACEMENT

1. With a Torx T40 bit, remove the door hook pin (A) from the door.

2. With a Torx T40 bit, remove the bolts, then remove the door catch (A) from the body.

3. Install the hook pin and catch in the reverse order of removal, and apply liquid thread lock to the threads

of the door hook pin.

FRONT & REAR DOOR GLASS ADJUSTMENT

1. Place the vehicle on a firm, level surface.

2. Remove these items:

a. Door panel, front door (see FRONT DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ), rear door

(see REAR DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )

NOTE:

z

Check the weatherstrips and glass run channel for damage or
deterioration, and replace them if necessary.

z

Wipe the run channel clean with a shop towel.

z

Lubricate the run channel with Shin-Etsu grease P/N 08798-9013.
