No. 257 Reversing radar can’t work while reversing
Malfunction Cause
Solution
Failure of switch for
reversing light
Replace reversing switch;
Failure of sensor of
reversing radar
Check, repair or replace reversing sensor;
Poor contact between
harness and controller
2) Check if connection between body harness and controller is reliable;
if the connection is normal, slight vibration should be touched by hand
on sensor. If not, check if the voltage of power supply for controller
harness is normal.

3) Check if connection between body harness and controller is reliable;
if the connection is normal, all LEDs will be on for about 1s when power
is on. If not, check if the voltage of power supply for controller harness is
normal.

4) If display works normally when power is on and slight vibration has
been touched on sensor connected to controller when reversing, but no
reversing data are showed on display, the connection between display
and controller should be checked for correct conducting; the break and
short circuit test may be conducted with multi-meter.

5) After inspections stated above, if there is still fault, it can be
determined that controller or display is broken. External power supply
mode can be used to check and determine the parts to be replaced.

No. 258 Wrong information from the reversing radar
Malfunction Cause
Solution
1) Sensor is installed
incorrectly;
1) Failed sensor is determined according to direction indicators of display
(When obstacle is detected by two left sensors, left indicator is on; and right
indicator is on per contra; when obstacle is detected by two middle sensors,
both left and indicators are on.). Please adjust sensor promptly if inclined
installation of sensor is inspected.

2) The connected harness between sensors and controller should be checked
for short circuit or break with multi-meter.

Check if fuse is burnt-out; if so, replace it;

Check switch for poor contact with multi-meter; if so, replace the switch;

Check if the sunroof has functions such as automatic shutting and
jam-preventing; if not, power-off the sunroof, and power-on again after 30 s to
reset;

Check control module for burn-out; if so, the control module should be replace;
